Good Thymes Cooking School
Good Thymes Cooking School is a fun, interactive place where kids can learn about the wonderful world of food. Children will discover exciting ingredients, create yummy, nutritious recipes, learn table etiquette and much more! We invite you and your children to join us as we take our food journey to another level, a definite GOOD THYME for all!
Our program offers a high energy, fun and age-appropriate introduction to the wonderful game of soccer. Our innovative curriculum emphasizes both soccer skills and character development. Our goal is to leave a lasting, positive impact on every child we serve.
Hoop Dreams’ main objective is for all children to have FUN playing basketball during each class. The fundamentals of basketball are implemented into fun games using props and the child’s own imagination and creativity. Every week, the first ten minutes of the class are used to warm up and review the previous weeks’ lesson, followed by the new lesson and game, ending with a weekly prize. Our program will teach children values and leadership through fun, hard work and exercise. Learning basketball fundamentals from such a young age will help children mature physically and emotionally, while also having fun and developing a love for the game. Hoop Dreams seeks to develop the potential within each child to become a shooting star in not only basketball, but in every aspect of their life.
Our dynamic curriculum is safe, non-aggressive; child focused and introduces children to foundational football skills while incorporating FUN! We focus on increasing athletic ability, balance, coordination, leadership and confidence. It is more about the fun of football and less about the competition. Each child will learn football skills, fitness, coordination, balance, agility, group and team concepts and increased understanding of focus, respect and honesty.
Ballet and dance is not solely about competition or winning awards. Many children dance simply for enjoyment and exercise. There are many benefits of dancing, including fitness, developing balance, losing weight, understanding the importance of being active, building confidence and developing expressive skills. The children will learn how to move across the floor, spin, stretch, jump and leap into the air. It teaches children how to express themselves better through non-verbal cues.
Scarlett also offers a hip-hop class for boys and girls.
Preschool and kindergarten is the perfect time to start learning a second language or enhancing it for multilingual children. A little effort now can provide a foundation for lifelong success in Spanish. If your child develops a foundation now, they can rapidly accelerate their knowledge of Spanish in later years. At Concordia Lutheran School we like to make sure that our students have the opportunity to grow in every way possible. In the Spanish Club we will use music, puppets, books, games, activities, crafts and video to teach your child the Spanish alphabet, colors, shapes, body parts, and basic conversation skills.
